Join us for a community group skate and grill out, sponsored by Camp Outpost Inc. Outpost will be hosting a FREE carving clinic to get you feeling comfortable on the board. They’ll have a selection of Carver surfskates to loan out for the clinic or bring your own. Please bring your own safety gear (helmet, pads)

Location: Standing Bear Lake, exact meet up spot will be posted. We will be near the Neighborhood Offshore rentals.
Whether you're a seasoned smoooooth rider or just starting out, this event is for everyone! Bring your friends, family, and neighbors for a sunset skate and grilling by the lake.
What to expect:
- We'll have some skateboards to loan out and share, or bring your own
- Don't forget your helmet
- Grill out potluck style: please feel free to add something to the table or just bring yourself and high vibes to share
- Neighborhood Offshore will be here with equipment rentals for stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Book with them in advance by visiting their website (click here) or book on the MindBody app to reserve your lake equipment if you want to get out on the water

If the 10 AM timeslot fills up, we’ll open a 10:15 AM slot, so please ensure prompt equipment return for the enjoyment of all guests.
Location: The warming hut’s exact location will be sent to the email you registered with. Rest assured, it’ll be strategically placed for easy trail access, likely on the far north end of Lake Cunningham Park to provide the best snow trail conditions. You’ll receive a precise pin for navigation.
The forecast is looking promising, with possible snowfall and temperatures comfortably above 15 degrees.
Rental Details:
Cost: $25 for 2 hours
Includes snowshoes, poles, access to the warming hut, and complimentary craft provisions.
Please keep in mind that rentals are non-refundable. If for any reason you can’t make it, your registration fee will be automatically donated to Camp Outpost Inc. to support our inclusive spring/summer programming. In the event of insufficient snow, we’ll seamlessly transition to a winter hike with access to the warming hut and its perks.
