Send your young explorer(s) to Neighborhood Offshore Summer Day Camp, “Scout to Summit,” now delivered in collaboration with Camp Outpost, where outdoor adventure becomes a platform for skill-building, confidence, and connection. Campers engage in a well-rounded day program that blends stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and kayaking with land-based adventure skills including skateboarding fundamentals, slacklining, overland camp cooking, and environmental learning.
Our water sessions prepare campers to navigate independently and responsibly, covering safe water strategies, foundational stroke mechanics, equipment knowledge, and tow and recovery methods, while our land sessions emphasize balance, coordination, creativity, and teamwork through progressive outdoor skills. New this summer, campers will also be introduced to snowboarding concepts through dry-land training, board awareness, and balance-based movement, expanding access to winter sports in an approachable, off-season format using dry turf snow mats.
This collaboration reflects a shared initiative between Neighborhood Offshore and Camp Outpost to welcome more youth into meaningful outdoor experiences. When weather limits time on the water, camp transitions seamlessly into off-site learning and exploration, including field trips with trusted community partners. Every day is intentionally designed to meet campers where they are to build competence, curiosity, and a lifelong connection to the outdoors.
